Every Hour 34 children are captured into sex trafficking!  This is an epidemic and is hard to comprehend. It is also known as “modern day slavery”.  Traffickers often use force, fraud and coercion as a way to control youth. We at Angels of Mercy, feel compelled to raise awareness and educate our community.  This is not only happening “somewhere else” and in third world countries, but something happening in our own backyards!

 

We encourage and invite you to help us STOP THE TRAFFICKING - END THE CYCLE!  Trafficking of young people (mostly children) is heart-wrenching.  For 3 years now, as New York Ambassador-Rep for Dress A Girl Around the World, we have made and sent dresses to more than 100,000 girls to prevent sex trafficking in at least 20 countries.

 

God is calling us higher and to STAND-UP, SPEAK-UP and do more.  We ask YOU to do all you can.

Our purpose is to help transform lives and bring hope to the hurting, while helping women move forward. Your support will ensure that Angels of Mercy will be able to achieve its objective to stop human trafficking and end the cycle of abuse and violence against women and girls. This event will enable Angels of Mercy to expand its services, providing support to additional women in the community. Funds from this event will help support The Victims Assistance of the Rochester Police Department and also fund our dream…a Home for Healing which will serve women and girls victimized by abuse of all kinds.
